To prepare students for the AP Exam, instruction will focus on three key areas:
Subject-specific content (including core concepts like genetics and evolution, scientific data analysis, and mathematics in biology)
Test-taking strategies (such as pacing for FRQs/MCQs, analyzing visuals, and building confidence under pressure)
Personalized learning approaches (customized review plans, IEP/504-aligned supports, and a mix of group and individual instruction)
A baseline diagnostic exam will be given at the prior to our first tutoring session to identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, allowing instruction to be tailored to their specific needs.
Students with IEPs or 504 plans often require highly individualized support. As an experienced educator, I am well-versed in designing and providing instruction that aligns with these plans to ensure that all students are given the tools and support necessary to succeed.
