To prepare students for the SAT, instruction will focus on three key areas:
subject-specific content (including grammar, math concepts, and reading comprehension)
test-taking strategies (such as time management, process of elimination, and maintaining a positive mindset)
personalized learning approaches (customized study plans, support aligned with IEP/504 accommodations, and both group and individualized instruction).
A baseline diagnostic exam will be given at the prior to our first tutoring session to identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, allowing instruction to be tailored to their specific needs.
Students with IEPs or 504 plans often require highly individualized support. As an experienced educator, I am well-versed in designing and providing instruction that aligns with these plans to ensure that all students are given the tools and support necessary to succeed.
